You know my broom and dustpan set? My third arm?
Well. This is its outdoor cousin. ๐
Same idea: long handle, a rake and a pan, no bending. Except this one is for scoop and poop. Hahaha.
With a pack of dogs, the yard does not clean itself. Trust me, I've waited. ๐
My pick
Pawler Pooper Scooper with Long Handle Rake & Tray on Amazon
- 36"+ long handles. Stand up straight and scoop. Your back says thank you.
- Rake plus tray. Rake it in, lift, done. Just like sweeping into a dustpan.
- Roomy 6.5" x 6" tray, so you can do a lap of the yard before heading to the trash.
- Made for grass, dirt and gravel, with rustproof aluminum.
- Over 20,000 ratings. I'm not the only one out there scooping. ๐ช
Want a bigger tray? There's an XL version too: Pawler Pooper Scooper with XL Tray.
The honest part
- It's not the exact same brand as my broom set. As far as I can find, that brand doesn't make a pooper scooper. This is the closest match: long handle, rake, and pan.
- It's a yard tool, not a house tool. Keep it outside and rinse it with the hose.
- Wash your hands after scooping. Every time. Yes, even with a long handle. ๐งผ
Real facts, no fluff
- The CDC says to always pick up dog poop and dispose of it properly, even in your own yard, and especially where kids play. Dog poop can carry germs that make people and animals sick. (CDC)
- The CDC also says to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with dog poop, even if you use a bag. (CDC)
Vet note: I'm not a vet, and this isn't vet advice. Diarrhea, blood, worms, or any big change in your dog's poop means it's time to call your vet.
